Respecting The Most High In Words

contradictions

I have come to notice that many who are reading and teaching the Word of God are not putting a guard over their mouth. It is not good to have a bible in one hand and have a cuss word coming out of the mouth. This tells me the fruits of the Spirit of the person that is teaching it, and it is also letting me know to back off. Cuss words destroy and that is not of God. We all should practice righteousness not unrighteousness  below are scriptures that would help one with this problem to Respect the Most High not only in Word but deed.

Ephesians 4:29

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers

Ecclesiastes 10:12

The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself

Proverbs 10:14

Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction

Proverbs 13:3

He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

Psalm 141:3

Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

James 1:26

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

Romans 8:2

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

John 1:17

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ

Romans 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace

Luke 6:45

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
